San Juan Capistrano Independence Day Tea Party
Hi All You Tea Party People! You are invited to the Independence Day Tea Party in San Juan Capistrano, California.
Where: Historic Town Center Archaeological Park Site: El Camino Real at Yorba Street
When: July 4, 2009 at 12 noon to 2 pm (plenty of time to get ready to see the fireworks after!)
We care about what America is and where America is going! We are going to have an Independence Day Tea Party at the Historic Park in San Juan Capistrano, just down from the historic Mission of San Juan Capistrano. Make your signs, bring your kids and grandparents, and join other like-minded people for a July 4th Rally.
We are all supporters of America and want all who want to come to participate in a non-partisan way. If you believe there’s just too much BIG government, too much spending, too much regulation, and way too much nanny-state legislation going on, then you are at the right place. We are supporters of smaller government on less money, less taxation, and less career politicians, on both sides of the aisle. We believe that Congress should be subject to term limits, just like the Presidency. Congress was not meant to be a career and life-long job for politicians. Too much power concentrated too long in a few people cause corruption, greed and nespotism.
Please tell your friends and family and come down and join us. 12 pm to 2 pm at the Historic Park. If enough people show up, we can march down the street to wave our signs at the corner of Del Obispo and Camino Capistrano to passerby. Show up and make your voices and opinions heard.

PS: I would love to hear from those who agree with me about organizing the March on Washinton to get an accounting for our 350 billion dollars or throw the suckers out!!!

I support what the Tea party Movement is about however I want to say that i believe we have a great opportunity NOW that is quickly slipping away. When Congress gave the first 350 billion stimulus dollars away and admitted to not know where it went as no accounting was kept that was criminal. We know many Rep and Dem representatives are pocketing money and to give away this amount without an accounting was paramount to stealing. If you or I told the IRS we had $10,000 in expenses but no accounting or receipts we’d have to pay taxes on it or go to jail. We need to organize a millions march on Washington and say to them simply “Give us an accounting for the 350 billion (our tax dollars) or either go to jail or immediately resign. That’s where this movement needs to go and NOW not later. The march could be April 15th of 2010 and we could refuse to pay our taxes by the millions until an acoounting for the 350 Billion is provided us.
Give them the three options period no slack whatsoever!!!

I like your support for tea party Thanks for that. I do feel it is sad that you dont feel the GOP represents your values. I do believe what you mentioned in your blog does represent GOP values. No party or person will be 100% in line with what you want. I do think it is time for the GOP to stand up for it’s party. Otherwise we will get another DEM in office. Get behind these values with the GOP.

It looks like we are loosing, but I think we are actually witnessing the last days of liberal big government. Trillions in debt and growing. Unbelievable. Even some long time liberal friends are finally fed up. I am honored to be part of this revolution and no doubt, our founding fathers are looking on with pride!

My family will be there on the 4th. Time to see what responsible people can do when they speak out. Silent majority - no more. Make your viewpoints known. The media may not get the movement - but appreciative Americans do. Take our government back.

Thanks for your post. Please help us get out the word, as it just made me feel so much better to know that there’s others out there that feel the same. STOP EXPANDING BIG GOVERNMENT! I have to deal with government regulations every day on behalf of my business clients, and the pace at which they are growing is insane. The amount of regulation on businesses is just mind-boggling and increasing every day, not to mention the mind-boggling amount of money our government is spending.
Please raise support for this rally on July 4.

Folks it is time to get off our cans and let our voices be heard. The Federal Government no longer represents the will of the people. The current administration & emboldened democratic congress are pushing their progressive agendas and are running rough shot over the collective will of the people. I’ll be in San Juan on the 4th. Got to think of a catchy slogan for my sign! Maybe it will begin…WE THE PEOPLE….
